I realize this will most likely go unobserved but it’s an issue that’s important to me. There’s currently an open letter addressed to the president asking him to put an end to the government’s involvement with Monsanto. Let me state right now that I have no problem with people who are pro-GM foods. If you think they’re the saviors of the world that’s your prerogative, but I believe everyone should have the right to decide for themselves whether or not they want to eat it. However that isn’t going to happen when the FDA consists of the same people who are responsible for creating this technology and hyping up positive press. I believe the fact that this issue is getting more public attention is the reason organic farmers have finally won the right to counter-sue Monsanto and their ludicrous lawsuits. If you feel it’s also important please sign the letter, if not continue on.
