Sometimes I think about how a tomato might have tasted back before the industrial revolution or back before our world was so polluted.
Sometimes I think about how the organic vegetables at the grocery store often look worse (like having spots and being smaller) but still taste 10x better and don’t get purchased as often.
Sometimes I wish there were more farmers’ markets in my area.
Can you start a little garden of your own? I just snatched an old kiddy pool, stabbed some draining holes in the bottom, filled it with potting soil, and then planted what I could in it. I know most of the vegetables I grow look insignificant compared to the ones from the grocery but they taste so much better. The food industry is giving us perfect looking food without flavor.
